Healing Touch Buddies & Bringing Back Our Community benefit from  the 3rd Annual What Women Want Biz Expo™ & What Men Want Too™.

Join us at the Third Annual What Women Want Business Expo™ & What Men Want Too™ hosted at the Abacoa Golf Club, 105 Barbados Dr, Jupiter, on Wednesday, June 15th from 4pm-8pm with doors opening at 3:45pm. Admission is FREE so bring your family, friends and co-workers and Network, Shop and Win with some of the leading business professionals in Palm Beach County. There are plenty of prizes to be won; iPad2, Pearl/Diamond Ring donated by Golden Anvil Jewelers, Abacoa Golf Package, PGA National Hotel Stay, Spa Packages, Gift Baskets & more while helping out charitable organizations.

Healing Touch Buddies is a non-profit organization that has been around for over 5 years and has served more than 80 women in Broward, Palm Beach and Martin Counties. HTB is dedicated to helping breast cancer patients by providing this gentle, noninvasive, energy-based therapy that complements traditional medical treatment and is facilitated at no charge, by specially trained volunteer HT practitioners. Bringing Back Our Community

Our Mission

TBringing back our communityhe mission of Bringing Back Our Community is to help fund other non-profit groups and projects, as well as rebuilding communities that have historical buildings in need of renovation and/or have been destroyed by mother nature. We also plan to help children and young adults via programs that build self esteem and teach life sustaining lessons that are not necessarily taught in school.

Bringing Back Our Community (BBOC) Nonprofit will be making a donation to the community of Joplin, MO, from the funds raised at the 3rd Annual What Women Want™ Biz Expo & What Men Want Too™.  Our nonprofit was created out of the need to refresh, revive and renew communities and charities in need, especially to help children and women in need.  With your help the people of Joplin can begin to move forward with their lives.  By making a minimum $10 donation or $25/3 tickets or $50/7 tickets, you can win great prizes including an iPad2 and net proceeds will be donated to BBOC.  Contact Brenda Ammon, bbocnonprofit@gmail.com or mail your check, made payable to Referral Networking Solutions and in memo area write BBOC donation and mail to P.O. Healing Touch Buddies

Mission Statement

 

 

Healing Touch Buddies, Inc. is a local non-profit health and education organization, dedicated to improving the quality of life of those challenged with breast cancer; providing patients with Healing Touch and volunteer practitioners with instruction and support. Our additional intention is to gather data on the impact of HT on specific symptoms associated with breast cancer and its treatment.

Goals and Objectives

  • HTB Executive Board and Advisory Committee have been formed to implement a program of continuing education instruction for Healing Touch Practitioners, who provide Healing Touch Therapy to those challenged with breast cancer.
  • HTB services are referred to patients through breast patient navigator programs, oncology services, breast cancer support groups and the Community Cancer Council. HTB matches healing touch providers with breast cancer patients, providing them with Healing Touch sessions for up to one year; the location and frequency of the meetings tailored to the needs and mutual goals of the patient and practitioner.
  • HTB provides support and mentoring to practitioners, guided by Standard and Practice of Healing Touch International, Inc. Data gathered through documentation of Healing Touch sessions is used to further research on the effects of HT on the quality of life of the breast cancer population.
  • HTB program development, administration, education and outreach budget is initially funded through private gifts and loans. As a 501 C3 tax exempt non-profit , we rely on grants from funds available specific to breast cancer, women’s health and education and breast cancer research to provide our services and education. Private gifts and our fundraising events bring in additional funds to cover administrative costs.
